Deep Tweet

Harnessing the power of real-time information’

Recent statistics indicate that the social messaging service, Twitter, receives over 50 million tweets each day.   Common sense suggests that at least a few of them are relevant to your service, product, brand or cause.  What’s not clear is how you can efficiently and continually identify those relevant tweets and make commercial or other use of them.

We developed Deep Tweet to address this need. And we’re willing to bet that it can help you as well.  It lets you search, or crawl, for tweets by a variety of criteria, such as keyword or location, and then conduct secondary and tertiary searches to sort, categorize and otherwise refine your results. It also lets you store, or harvest, those tweets over unlimited periods of time, helping track trends in relevant markets and among your target audiences.  Your searches can be automated at the frequency of your desire (every 5 minutes, hours, etc.) or be done manually at your discretion.  They also can be designed to run permutations of relevant keywords or locations (like every combination of street and avenue in Manhattan).

But that’s not it.  The really fun part is deciding what to do with all this valuable real-time information you’re collecting.  And we’re happy to help you make those decisions and implement them efficiently.  Here’s a list of just some of the ways in which you can utilize tweets that you harvest:

Aggregate real-time content for your users: Package and display the tweets you harvest in ways that will be of interest or use to your website or application’s audience.

Populate your database: Use relevant tweets to populate your database.  Whether you’re a marketplace, online index/directory, or social network, people are probably already tweeting the kind of requests, reviews or other content you’re looking for.  Additionally, we can work with you to set a system that will search your database to find appropriate responses to or matches for requests made in tweets.

Market Intelligence/Analytics: Harvest tweets to track trends in your market and better understand your consumers’ preferences. Hear what people are saying about your and your competitors, and keep an ear to their changing needs and desires.

Marketing Leads: Simply keep an eye out for tweets that demonstrate a user’s interest in your products or services.

For all of these options, we can set up various automated processes that can, for example, alert you to tweets of special interest, search your database for appropriate responses/matches, or deploy scripted responses.

This may be a very worthwhile addition to our social business card product for organizations to monitor their brand by employee.

Do you have (or plan to have) an API and what do you have in mind for pricing?

    Cheers,

    Mark,

Thanks for your post! Your concept sounds neat and could likely be a good fit.

We are developing an API, but the current system is dashboard based, so we do client integrations individually. We work closely with clients to achieve their objectives, which also helps us understand the kind of customizations our eventual API users might seek.

We can discuss pricing and other questions you might have offline.
